Changes I would make to my study programme

Hi everyone, in this blog I will talk about the changes that I would make if I could change things of my study programme.

About the curriculum, I can say that is not necessary to change it, in general i´ve liked the subjects since I start university. Also it depends on the teacher how good or not a subject can be, because some of the teachers are very strict about the notes and the deadlines for examples.

I would change the distribution of the test. Every semester there are around 2-3 very intense weeks, where the mental health goes down. The most of the class shows very overwhelmed because of the distribution of evaluations, they get all together. That is related with the workload too because some subjects requires more time to understand, added to the readings that programme considers. So a better distribution of the workload and evaluations would make the university experience less stressfull

About the infrastructure on the faculty I cannot complain, because is a big space and some of the classrooms are new in the university, they were built only 2 years ago. Here in the campus there are a soccer field, swimmingpools and a gym too. The infrastucture is quite good.

The technology is good in general in the new classrooms, altough there are some old and new classrooms where the internet is not avaliable, thats really bad because the phones cannot be used just as the notebooks.

That are the changes that I will make if I could. In general I wouldn´t change a lot of things of the study programme, the teaching methods stills the same as school with different teachers. Althoug they should make better distributions of the evaluations to take care of the mental health of the students.

A job I would like to have in the future

Hi everyone. In this blog I will talk about one job I would like to do in the future. As a sociologist I´d like to work making surveys but in another countries. Making surveys is one of the things I would like to do as sociologist, making the questions and the possible answers it results interesting for me.

That is one of the options because I would like to make my own investigations too in order to research the topic of my interest, as sports or social interaction too. Making the research in another country in my opinion would be really enriching to my knowledge and the sociology I hope.

In both of the cases, making surveys and research, is an requirement to study the people that we want to study, to make a consistant and effective investigations and surveys. The purpose of this kind of jobs is to identificate and improve the life conditions of the people we focus on so I hope to make a good job.

My dream job would be one that gives me the chance to combine sociology and football like in an important way studying it but also intervening and hopefully playing and getting payed fot it.

That´s all bye:)

My best holidays

Hi everyone, in this blog I´m going to talk about my best holidays. The best holidays I remember was on 2012. In that summer me and my family went to Tacna, Perú. We go there because we pass the new year with my dad´s family, in Calama. After the new year celebration, we travel to Arica and then we took a taxi to Tacna, we cross the country in a taxi, something unusual for me.

We stay on Tacna for 4 days, we rent two rooms, one for my parents and the other one for me and my older brother. It was surprisingly cheap to rent an hotel near the center of the city that appears in the photo.

The time we stay there we go to buy clothes, Tacna it´s famous for the production of fake and good quality sport t-shirts. We go to a lot of restaurants too, the food was really good, and cheaper than Chilean food.

I think I consider this as the best holidays because I still being a child, with no responsabilities and I was only amazed to be in another country with a lot of new things for me. And the Peruvian food was really, really good.

A country i would like to visit

Hi everyone, one country that I would like to visit is Brazil. I would like to travel there because I feel it like a happy country, the music and the people are in a good mood. I already traveled there in 2018. I had a lot of fun, but I would visit Brazil again to know more about the culture and sports, specially football, because it is a country that identifies with that sport, and it has won the most of World Cups in the history.

There in Brazil I would like to visit the favelas to know the other Brazil´s face. I would play football there too, and going out to parties or walking on the beach during night and maybe go to swim on it, the water on the beach is hotter than chileans beachs. Also i would like to study first, then eventually, if the lifestyle there is nice, I would work there to stabilize my situation and why not live there eventually. It all depends of my experience and the chances to survive there by my own.
